- State the applicable acceptance criteria in the purchase documents.
- Ask for an explanation of traceability, changes and nonconformance handling.
Turn the review into a build decision
Keep decisions in the approved build package rather than scattered across messages. Identify the board revision, the person responsible for the decision and any conditions the assembler must follow. Where a process limit or standard applies, confirm the current requirement with the responsible manufacturer or specification owner.
