The product sets the requirements
Assembly choices follow the conditions in which the finished product must work.
Industrial control
Describe the operating environment, connectors, service life and maintenance access. Discuss protective treatments and test conditions only where the product requires them.
IoT & connected devices
Plan antenna clearances, RF requirements, programming and unique device configuration. Define how connectivity and power consumption will be verified.
Automotive electronics
Identify the applicable customer requirements, traceability and validation plan. A general assembly capability statement does not establish suitability for a vehicle application.
Medical devices
Document the device requirements, records and controls your quality system needs. Confirm supplier responsibilities and applicable evidence before awarding the build.
Power & energy
Share voltage, current, thermal and mechanical constraints. Include requirements for high-mass components, insulation, cleaning and electrical verification.
Consumer electronics
Coordinate enclosure fit, connector alignment, programming and final functional tests. Keep cosmetic, labeling and packaging expectations in the release.
Translate the application into a specification
State the environment and acceptance requirements for the product. Review supplier capabilities and define verification coverage against those requirements.
